Ninaisms:
* Papa, that was super, duper, schmuper weird!!
* I know all of it. Some of it, I don't know, but I know all of it.
* (Cuddling at nap-time) Mama, roll over so you can look at my beautiful face.
Graceisms:
* Nina, smell my shoe! It's ex-husting!!
* Beckett, want me to read you a story? Yes? Which one: Knuffle Bunny or Annie's Apple Farm? Ok. Let me find it... Beckett! I need you to please practice your patience!
Apparently, yesterday after nap-time, Grace was hungry - surprising seeing as how she ate all her lunch and two snacks before nap. At any rate, I awoke to hear a chair being moved across the kitchen, the fridge door open (she's never done that before), a thump as she must've jumped off the chair, then lots of crinkly sounds like a candy wrapper, followed by beeping from the fridge door being left open. A drawer opened and slammed shut, the beeping stopped, and the chair was moved again. I decided that she was doing a good job of taking care of herself, and I was cozy and warm in bed, so I didn't investigate. After I finally dragged myself out of bed, I discovered she'd done quite well - a chocolate chip granola bar (half-eaten) and a yogurt drink with a straw was left on her placemat at the table. She's always been very self-sufficient, but I was quite impressed! (Now if I could just get her to cook supper and fold laundry ...)
