July / August 2010

It's been a busy summer.  And a very good one.  We've been to Atlantic Beach, NC with Grandpa and the Franklinton Swanns, Uncle Will and his kids came to visit and we went to stay with Gigi and Granddad in Jacksonville, FL.  Here are some of the pics from the past 2 weeks:

Here's my bulbous self at 15 weeks:

This is pre-raindance:

Nina is praying for rain.

Dancing and praying worked: (a video is below this picture - press the triangle to play)

We had lots of fun with Emerson, Webb and Uncle Will when they came for a long weekend!

Below are pictures from Jacksonville with Gigi and Granddad.  We sure were tuckered out each night!!

(Is she posing for Sports Illustrated?!?)

Here's the Riverside Arts Market:  vendors included potters, dress-makers, clowns doing face painting (our slot was ill-timed with their parade and lunchtime...), sidewalk artists, jewelry-makers and local produce farmers.

We also went to the Jacksonville Zoo.  We got to ride on the train, play in the splash park and see 23 zillion animals.

The Komodo Dragon exhibit was a favorite:

(H likes this one because you can see N's reflection in the water)

Probably the absolute best part of the day was the ride on the carousel:

Then again, the splash park was pretty cool too!
